1. How to place an order online through this site ?

 

Step 1 : After entering the no of item/ no of meter/ no of pieces of any particular product you want to place order for chose either "Add to cart" (default option) or "Buy now" option alongside the products. Then click on "Go" button.


Step 2 : If "Buy now" option was checked, the purchase order form would open on clicking the "Go" button with details of item selected, description, total amount to be paid etc. Fill up the purchase order form and submit it. The purchase order will be e-mailed to the authority for further action.


Step 3 : If "Add to cart" option was checked the item would be added to the shopping cart along with the quantity. You may add more items. You can add more units of one particular item by adding additional no.of units in the product list and the adding that quantity to shopping cart.


Step 4 : Click on "View shopping cart content" icon to see the item listed in the cart.


Step 5 : In the shopping cart purchase order for one particular selection can be paced by clicking on "Place order" link along side the item or can remove it from selected list by clicking on "Remove" link.


Step 6 : In shopping cart list there are five other buttons at the end of list. Here you can plaace order for all the handicraft products listed in the selection list at a time by clicking on "Place order for all handicrafts products" and for all handloom/ sericulture (silk) product by clicking on "Place order for all handloom/ sericulture (silk) products" button.
Click on "Remove all" button to remove all the selected items from the shopping cart list.
Click on "Check out" button to exit from this site without executing any purchase order.Go to top
Click on "Continue shopping" button if you want to browse through the products again or chose other items for purchasing.



2.What is the mode of payment ?

Payment schedule – Through Letter of Credit , State Bank Of India, Agartala Branch in case of international purchasing and through Bank Draft in case of Domestic Purchasing.

a) In case of Handicrafts Product, the Letter of Credit/ Bank Draft would be issued in favour of  Tripura Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd., M.B.B.Sarani, Agartala-799007, Tripura.

b) In case of Handloom/ Sericulture(Silk) Product, the Letter of Credit/ Bank Draft would be issued in favour of Tripura Apex Weavers Co-Op. Society Ltd, I.T.I. Road, Idranagar, Agartala-799006 Tripura.



3.What is the Shopping Cart ?

Go to topIn shopping cart all the selected items get accumulated for further mass processing operations like placing purchase order for or removing all the selected item etc.



4. What is the mode of delivery ?

After receiving the purchage order the items for which order have been placed would be ready for shippment. After receiving the amount in full or part of it through Bank Draft the goods will be at Calcutta with in 60 (sixty) days for onwards Shipments/ Air Cargo.Go to top
